Evicting Wildlife From Your Home
Before you go to drastic or expensive measures to remove wildlife that has moved into your attic, walls, or crawlspace, we would like for you to throw a party so they will decide your home isn't a suitable place to raise their young.
That's right, THROW A PARTY!

If you are hearing scratching or thumping around in the attic, it is most likely a mother who has built a nest and is raising her young in yorur attic to keep them safe from weather and predators. So the best way to get her to move out is to make her feel unwelcome.

For at least three days:

1) Grab some bright spotlights or flashing lights and put them in the attic.

2) Get some coyote urine or some extremely pungent cheap cologne and put it on old socks or rags and toss it around in the attic near where the mother has placed her nest. We don't suggest getting too close to the nest as a protective mother can be pretty scary, so just toss as closely as possible from the door.

3) Grab a boombox (or loud Bluetooth speaker) and play some of the loudest and most obnoxious music you can find!

Momma Squirrel or Raccoon does not want to raise her babies near all this racket, so she should move her babies to a back-up nest nearby within a day or two. Make sure she's removed all the babies before closing up the entry point, and check to ensure there isn't more than one entry point that needs to be closed.

If this doesn't work, give us a call and we will help brainstorm based on on your specific situation.
